Ok, so we aren't on our way yet BUT the time does seem to be getting closer. Just a quick update for those who don't know the rest of the story.
Last year Paul & I decided that we wanted a new adventure. So we bought a boat - actually a 48' Tollycraft trawler. We found the boat - named it "Out & About" - did some repairs/refurbishings, etc and then Ron - my brother-in-law and Paul brought her home to Tennessee. It was quite an adventure for them. Eileen (sister) and I joined them in Decatur, Al. Unfortunately after I got on the boat things seemed to go down hill. After a flawless crossing of the Gulf of Mexico and many nautical miles to Alabama the engines stopped!
Fortunately we had our Boater's insurance and so we got a 3 hour tow!
Eventually we made it to Tennessee and were able to get lots of boating time in this summer.
So now you are all up to date. After a few final repairs and lots of packing we hope to begin our "Loop" trip soon. So anyone that doesn't know what the "Loop" trip is here is a link to show the map of what we hope to accomplish in the next year or two.
